Rick taking a sip of h2o. Sadly there were no buffalo. I forgot to tell you that after his buffalo buddy sent out the word we were mobbed by them in Yellowstone. It wasn't by chance those critters turned up. They were looking for Rick. Posted by Picasa

Hey, they do real work in Nevada too. It isn't just gambling. Posted by Picasa

The bikes. It's obligartory. You know that by now. Posted by Picasa

Here is why, it was under water. There was a family there and the dad was taking pictures of his kids standing in the water so I took advantage of that and thought it gave the picture a neat perspective. Posted by Picasa

Yep, here we are. I wanted to see if I could enter my bike and make a speed run but nobody was racing. Posted by Picasa

Here I am. The salt streched for many miles, like a hundred or so. We saw 2 Morton Salt plants as we drove. People also made signs by arranging rocks. Didn't get any pics of them, sorry. Posted by Picasa

Here is Rick standing on the Bonneville salt flats. Posted by Picasa

This is where we spent most of our day, in the middle of nowhere. There were some pretty scenic places but as we were haulin' butt, we didn't stop much. Lots more of this though. Posted by Picasa

Rick sippin' his green tea. We are getting very Mayberry as we sit and watch the world go by. Posted by Picasa

This is where you get the stuff if you are ever in the Utah desert just West of Salt Lake City. Tell 'em Rick and Bob say hi. Posted by Picasa

A refreshing beverage purchased in a store/gas station run by a lovely oriental couple in the Utah desert. It was grass jelly with lychee juice and it was very refreshing, I am not kidding. You all know I like to try new and interesting things and this was one of them. Imagine finding this in Utah. Posted by Picasa

Here is Coalville. As we ate dinner last night we sat and talked to some of the local folk who all knew everyone in town. A really great experience. Posted by Picasa

As we travel through America we are getting to experience the heartland in a very rewarding way. We have met many wonderful people and had local comestibles, like raspberry milkshakes so delicious they would bring tears to your eyes. Cool cars everywhere too. Posted by Picasa

Roadside good byes as we part ways with Chris. He is an amazing guy. He has travelled the world, speaks 3 languages (that I know of) and is just a great guy. Safe travels to you where ever you go my friend. Posted by Picasa

Welcome to the West boys. Wide open spaces, didn't see any buffalo here. Posted by Picasa

The loch Ness monster vacationing in Utah. Posted by Picasa

Looks too run down to be real but did you notice the horses?  Posted by Picasa

The Geneva Post Office. Zip code right there where you won't forget it. Posted by Picasa

Nice little town, Geneva. Posted by Picasa

Go figure. They had a St. Charles and Evanston too. Copycats. Posted by Picasa

Jackson, WY as we leave. Yeah, taking pictures in traffic as I ride. Real smart. Posted by Picasa

This is where some of the water is coming up from. Posted by Picasa

Hello Mr. Crow. You would think he'd be getting a little hot foot. Posted by Picasa

The water so clear and blue you can't believe it. Posted by Picasa

Beautiful colors. Posted by Picasa
