Update About My Racing and Riding History!

One new thing for me to post is I have ridden my BMW 62,000 miles since I bought it in 2004! It is still super reliable and awesome to ride! Also, I just had new tires put on the bikes wheels at a shop near where I live since I got the tires for an excellent price! One really nice thing is I got 10,000 miles on my back tire and 14,000 miles on the front one before they were worn to the point when they needed to be replaced! That is truly a lot of miles to get with your motorcycles tires! Most folks only get around 4,000 miles from the tires they have. One nice thing for me is I always use Bridgestone Battleax tires which is why I always get an excellent amount of miles before they wear down since that is an excellent tire for me to use!

One other thing is I always get around 51 to 53 miles per gallon during warm weather! That is truly awesome mileage to get! One other truly nice thing! This is the best handling bike you can imagine! It is super stable and corners the best of all the bikes I have ever owned!

Over the 50 years I have been riding motorcycles I have owned 15 bikes for riding on the road. Also I raced motorcycles for 13 years. I also had 7 bikes that were just for racing.

I started racing when I was 17 years old and raced until I was 30 years old! I raced motocross mostly also I used to do dirt track racing at a local track we used to have to race at in Sycamore which was Bob Joe Speedway. One other thing is they stopped having motorcycle racing there many years ago. One other nice thing is I also did a road race at Phoenix International Raceway back in 1984 which I got a trophy finish and set the lap record on that track in my class!

As I ride now I actually am truly lucky because I have dodged the bullet many times when I've avoided accidents that would've been caused by cars! The most common thing those drivers did was run stop signs without slowing down or stopping and what I did to avoid the accident was to brake hard to avoid colliding with them! Which I did successfully every single time!
